"Blossom" - 90x120 cm

The vibrant red and pink color scheme in this painting was inspired by some flowers I've had right outside my window in my new studio this summer. I wanted to capture the beauty and joy if these colors in order to keep it all through the coming fall and winter. For a long time I've focused on light and neutral colors in my paintings, but I really like the darker and more dramatic effects these deeper colors give!
