"Solitude" explores the ambiguity of aloneness. Solitude can at times be a lonley feeling, feeling isolated and out of connection with others. On the other hand solitude can also be a deeply needed experience of introspection and connecting with oneself. The palette is dominated by muted tones, which together with the soft light create a sense of the calm and quiet that can be felt in solitude.
Size: 120x150 cm, 4 cm edges.
Medium: acrylic paint on primed cotton canvas.
Frame: Light oak, not included in the price. Can be added within Norway for an additional 3000 NOK.
Taxes: 5% art tax in Norway is included in the price. Please check whether any import fees could apply to your country.
Shipping in Norway: This artwork can be shipped ready to hang on the wall for 2000 NOK. Alternatively it can be shipped in a roll for 300 NOK, and restretched at your local frame workshop.
